Well I have been using the Ergon GX-2s for about 3 years now with and without barends and have zero complaints about them. No numbness, soreness or blisters on the long rides love em! This year I upgraded to the carbon barend GX-2s talk about stiff and light. Mr. Kerkove and Ergon keep kicking out awesome products to keep your hands happy.
Early this summer I acquired a Ergon BX-2 backpack, it has not disappointed either. Been using it for commuting pretty much daily for 4 months now. Tons of storage for carrying all sorts of stuff. It has 2 separate compartments as well as a zipper to expand the main compartment. The front compartment has 2 separated zippered pouches to hold whatever your heart desires. The main compartment has a water bladder sleeve just like the older BX-2. As well as a zippered pouch up top. I've been using it to hold my wallet keys and such commuting. It also has some longer skinny pockets in there to hold a shock pump or a pen. On the outside it has an optional rain cover, as well as 2 zippered pockets on each hip strap, real handy for e-caps and gels. The adjustable fit is rocking!
The final product I have been using for the past couple months commuting as well as on training rides and races are the HX-2 gloves the fit and finish on these is top notch. They seemed like they would be a tight fit but they are very comfortable, they fit with the GX-2 grips like butter. Making a great product even better! Did 60 miles of mostly singletrack riding last weekend, no complaints from my paws. Another awesome product. Hope they keep this up in the upcoming 2012 season.
Looking forward to using the GX-2 grips and the HX-2 gloves in the Shenandoah Mountain 100 this coming Sunday. Looking forward to rocking it!
